He very nicely asked the waitress to take the ravioli as it was fishy and I asked if I could have anything else. I was reluctant to say anything as I don’t like returning food, but my boyfriend talked me into it because I still haven’t eaten at this point. Ordered a full meal, chicken, vegetables, etc. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco, my boyfriend also ordered an old fashion. But let me tell you about our experience. This is not the place- and quite frankly, excellent service has never been their forte. Spend it at a place that cares about their patrons and provides excellent customer service. I could get past the awful service and mediocre food- but this is absolutely infuriating.ĭo not waste your money here. I am appalled by their lack of customer service and inconsistent policies. $140 wasted for trying to follow their policies posted. Well sir, not according to Open Table where I made re reservation- or your website. Nothing we can do- your card will be charged. I was like did you just say hello and hang up? And he goes yes I did. Knowing I was standing there in front of him. He proceeded to answer the phone- says hello - and HUNG UP. To which I waited in line for the hostess to tell me- nothing they can do. (Again see screenshot) I left my brunch at my house that the family was making- to drive there and explain. I called at 10:30am- and was on hold for almost an hour and 20 min. To which I received a voicemail that they were “outside of business hour and to call back.” Ok- that’s fair. We tried to cancel on open table- but we’re told we had to call by 10:30 am the day of the reservation to cancel or would be charged $20pp (party of 7). We had a family situation and could not make our 6:15 dining reservation. (See photo) Oh and when we did speak to the manager- he was beyond disrespectful and unhelpful. But to wait on hold for an hour and 20 min- and have to drive there to speak to someone- is absolutely unacceptable. I’m more than happy to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt and be patient. I understand it’s a busy day- Mothers Day. Today was the nail in the coffin for our family- and we will never return. We let it go- and went for the ease and closeness, and. While the food is decent, (Brunch is the best) the service has always been terrible. We have been to Deja Blue quite a bit since they opened years ago.
